A punk supervillain
A young man with spiky red hair, pierced ears, and sunglasses, Twist looks every inch the archetype of the early 80s punk. He normally dresses in ripped jeans, leather jacket, combat boots, and a T-shirt with the anarchy symbol on it.
Twist has the power to distort spatial distances, effectively slowing down enemies or rendering them incapacitated through nausea. He can also effectively teleport short distances by twisting himself through space, but it clearly leaves him somewhat uncomfortable. Working together with his sister, Shout, the two of them can create a far more intense distortion effect that can cripple entire crowds and shatter objects.
Ronald Sherman and his sister Veronica are from Chicago’s Lower East Side, lower middle class kids who got into drugs and punk music out of boredom and a sense of dissatisfaction. They were both exposed to a new designer drug that killed most of the other people that took it, but which granted them super powers.
Now working as the criminal duo Twist and Shout, Ronald and Ronnie knocked over a couple of gas stations before working their way up to a bank heist. During their first bank robbery, they were caught by the Midwest Avengers. They are currently being held in Skraggmore Penitentiary awaiting trial.
